Woven from friendship, thread by thread
It all began with a shared love for the hunt…early mornings at Round Top, dusty shop shelves in Austin, and an eye for pieces with a past. Dana and Mary had been friends long before they were business partners, but somewhere between admiring the same worn-in rug at a booth and realizing neither of them wanted to leave without it, Loom & Lore Collective was born.
What started as a shared obsession turned into a shared mission: finding vintage rugs with real history, and giving them a second life in homes that will love them as much as we do. Every rug we source has already lived a full story before it ever reaches you…we just get to help write the next chapter.

Every Thread Tells a Story
—
Long before a rug reaches your home, it's already been part of someone else's story — a gathering place, a well-worn path, a room full of life. We source with that history in mind, so every piece you bring home carries a little of what came before.
Round Top Finds
Sourced straight from the fields at Round Top, where the best pieces are found before sunrise.
One-of-a-Kind
No two rugs are ever quite alike — once it sells, it's gone for good, so the one you love won't be waiting around.
Hand-Knotted Wool
Every rug is authentically hand-knotted, woven by artisans decades before it found its way to us.
From Turkey to Texas
From Austin shop floors to direct-from-Turkey vendors, every rug is hand-picked no matter how far the hunt takes us.
Curated, Not Catalogued
We choose every piece in person. If it doesn't have soul, it doesn't make the cut.
Made to Be Lived On
Vintage doesn't mean fragile. These rugs have already survived decades — they're ready for yours.
